Materials

Bath Sponges (net like, or interesting shapes)
dowel, stick or stiff wire
green tape or tissue paper
green fun foam (or sponge)
decorations or trim
glue
scissors

Directions for how children can make a Spa Flowers

Find a collection of colorful bath sponges
Wrap a dowel or stick in green florist tape, crepe paper or tissue paper. Use a dab of glue if it's having trouble holding.
Use thread and a pompom to tie a center into the flower if you want.
Attach the sponge to the top of the dowel (flower). You could use glue or just find a way to tie it on. Often they will stay in place if you push the stem firmly into the center.
Cut out leaves from fun foam and glue them on the stick.
